Mrs. Liptak challenged her students to design and build a water lifting machine using simple machines to efficiently lift water from one level to another. The students worked in partners and each team designed a unique solution to Mrs. Liptak's project. The water pump project had great success!

One thing that Middle School Counselor Mrs. Gilman really enjoys is assisting her students with community building circles. Here, she and Mrs. Dougal share a laugh with the students.

Mrs. Savage asked her seventh grade students to participate in a communication activity. One student gave directions to a classmate on how to draw a picture, but could use only a limited list of words to describe the drawing. Mrs. Savage said the activity was engaging, interactive and informational.
